Questar Welsh (Guitar/Vocals) was born and raised in Rochester, New York in a musical family. Influenced by such groups as the Beatles and Led Zeppelin Questar honed his vocal harmonies and guitar chops. Growing up, he played in various local rock bands.

After moving to New York City, Questar worked at Sound Heights, a recording studio in Brooklyn, NY. There he learned the craft of engineering and producing from studio owner Vince Traina. He later engineered and produced hundreds of recordings and loads of charting records in the 70's and 80's as well as a number of Gold Records. Questar is the owner of Real Recording a studio in which he has engineered and produced many TV and radio commercials as well as recorded and mixed many animae and cartoon projects such as Chaotic, Yugioh GX, Yugioh, Pokemon, F-Zero, Mew Mew Power, Magical DoReMi, Kirby, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fighting Foodons, Animation Runner and Outlanders.

Questar's singer/song writing skills have found releases on indie labels as well as a number of John Lennon Song Writer recognition awards.

Questar's musical talents seem to know no bounds; A strong singer with an incredible ear for harmony, a great lead and rhythm guitarist, He can also play drums, piano, bass and is a consummate MIDI music programmer.

Questar's vocals and smart, melodic guitar playing are great additions to ESB. He has engineered and co-produced ESB projects in the past and it is great to have him back on the stage playing with us again.
