Hole In The Head
I was talking to a
friend of mine about how I'd lost my faith.
My bird of paradise had gone and flown away.
He gave me some advice, said I'm better off alone.
Was a blessing in disguise that the bird had flown.
'Cause I need a woman like I need a hole in my head.
Walking 'cross a firing
line; everybody's got their say.
To lead someone else's life, well, seems easier in a way.
Started thinking he might be right. I could make it on my own
Soft music and candlelight will pave the road to the Devil's
home.
'Cause I need a woman like I need a hole in my head.
Then I saw you, baby
and you looked so fine.
Legs so long and lips that made me lose my mind.
And the more I thought about it, his words rang true.
Just like my friend said; I need another hole in my head.
Staring into space
last night, up to the evening sky.
A shooting star cast a light that opened up my eyes
I sat back and I cracked a smile, 'cause then it all made sense
A bitter man builds a wall where a smart man climbs a fence.
'Cause I need a woman like I need a hole in my head.
Then I saw you, baby
and you looked so fine.
Legs so long and lips that made me lose my mind.
And the more I thought about it, his words rang true.
Just like my friend said; I need another hole in my head.
